- The quiet corner of the library: For the book lovers you get it. There’s just something so special about finding a nice corner of the library, with a good book and just readddddd?. If you know, you know. Trust me it’s really good but I get it books may not be your forte. So, onto the next place.
- The park:The park is a really nice spot to hang out. A stroll here is just free therapy. Listening to music while strolling round, just observing and taking in the simple gifts of nature is definitely up there on my list. It totally helps if you get anxious a lot.
- The beach:Going to the beach counts as a solo date in my books. And I don’t know what it is but at night, it’s wayyyy better. But please, don’t go at night alone. If you have to,go with someone. Sit by the waves,an umbrella over your head, food by your side, and just listen. Listen to the sound of the waves hitting the shore over and over and if you’re good at it, then go for a swim. I hear ocean air is good for you, I’m no expert but it’s worth a shot.
- Quiet Coffee Shop or Café: The number one on my solo date list.Grab your favorite book or journal and cozy up in a corner of a nearby coffee shop. Sip on a delicious beverage, indulge in a sweet treat, and soak in the soothing ambience as you lose yourself in your thoughts.
- Your Own Backyard or Balcony: Sometimes, the best place to hang out by yourself is right in your own backyard or balcony. Set up a cozy outdoor lounge area, bring out a good book or your favorite music even games, and create your own little sanctuary where you can relax whenever you need a break from the world.
- Cinema or Movie Theater:Treat yourself to a solo movie date at the cinema. Pick a movie you’ve been dying to see, grab some popcorn and immerse yourself in the screen without any distractions. You could netflix and chill, but we’re leaving the house aren’t we?
- Solo meditation or yoga centres: Where I come from we don’t have this and I wish we did. But from what I hear it’s a very nice way to kick back and get in touch with your inner “zen”. I don’t really know much about it but give it a shot and see.
- A spa date:Treat yourself to a day of pampering and relaxation at a spa. Indulge in amazing spa treatments and nourish your body, mind, and soul as you embrace the art of self-care and self-love.
- Art Studio: If you’re an artsy person, then you’re going to love this. If there’s an art studio in your area then go out there and express yourself. Experiment with different mediums, express yourself through painting or pottery and let your imagination run wild as you explore the world of art and self-expression.
- Stargazing spot: Now, I know a lot of places that don’t have this. But, it doesn’t have to be an official spot. It could be YOUR spot. Go there sit down and as always music must be a part of the experience and just stargaze. Nothing else just that.
